Richard Longden

Richard creates ceramic pieces thrown predominantly on the wheel. Although trained to Degree level in Painting and Drawing his passion is now solely in working with clay. Richard loves exploring, due to the vast range of possibilities and exciting feeling when opening a kiln. Like his previous interest in painting, he is drawn to a limited colour palette, texture, layering and the subtleties within them.
