Gordon Sneddon

I’m a self-taught artist who has been painting in watercolours for over 30 years. My style aims to maximise the clean, transparent hues of watercolour paints within bold compositions and an unusual use of perspective.
I have also spent time exploring more abstract themes, but over the last year have focused on pure watercolours. I have been continually developing my own unique style – based on a love of vibrant colour and strong lines which has been inspired by the fishing villages and resorts along the South West coast.
I hope my paintings present a view of the local landscape which is at once both familiar and different and that they will find a place in many homes in the UK and overseas.
